For this weeks Word
tutorial we're going one step further and using the WordArt option to flip around and
reverse our chosen text to make printing titles even easier.Printing out reversed
letters on the 'wrong' side of your paper means that they will be facing the correct way
with a lovely pattern on them (assuming you used patterned paper!).
The good thing about printing them this way is that the outlines won't be showing
because they are on the back of the paper and out of sight. :o)
This may have been a long scrapbooking tips blog post - but give it a go, it really is
quite simple to do.

Printing titles on your computer
Rather than handwriting their journaling or page titles a lot of scrapers are now using
a computer to do it instead. Here's a neat trick, that works particularly well with
titles, you can try the next time you're using Microsoft Word.
Usually when printing out your text the letters are block filled with black ink (or
whatever color you've selected) - here's what to do if you want the pattern or color of
your chosen paper/cardstock to show through the outline of the letters you're printing.
I'll have another Word trick for you in my next post

Neat scrapbooking tips for using up paper scraps
Don't throw anything away! Particularly bits of left-over paper, they're so versatile
and can be used for lots of different things.
Why not make a great title for your layout by cutting odd sized/shaped squares (use
your decorative edge scissors if you want to) and use them to mat your letters - just like
the logo I use at the top of my website pages.
Make decorative page accents by using up some scraps with your favorite punches. Scraps
are also useful for making confetti, photo corners, mosaic tiles, collages and are great
for serendipity squares.
There's lots of fun and lots of possiblities to be had with paper scraps - so, go on
get creative and enjoy yourself! ;o)

Lettering template tip
Many scrapers use lettering templates for doing page titles and journaling on their
layouts. Here's a simple tip to use so there will be no pencil outlines showing after you
have cut out your letters.
Just reverse everything!
All you have to do is lay your paper right-side down, do the same with the lettering
template, so that you are drawing the letters backwards. When cut out and turned over the
letters will be the correct way round and ready to use.
