Co-ordinate facing pages
It's quite common for scrapers to keep the layouts that are currently being worked on
separate from the completed pages already in an album, only inserting the new pages into
an album when they're finished.
Nothing wrong with that! It's a very good method, especially for those of us that
haven't got much spare time as we can easily pick up our layout and scrap away even for
only a few minutes.
Most scrappers do single page layouts so spare a thought for the page, already in your
scrapbook, that will face the layout you are working on and try to somehow co-ordinate
with it.
That way your whole album will be a 'pleasurable viewing experience' ;o) that will flow
nicely from beginning to end.

Storing double-tipped marker pens
Double-tipped markers have lots of uses and are so versatile, the fine tip is perfect
for journaling and the broad tip is great for making page titles.
So here's a really simple, common sense free scrapbooking idea that will help you
prolong the life of your pens - keep them flat when not in use! Told you it was simple :o)
Seriously though, try to store your double-tipped marker pens horizontally as this
keeps the ink evenly distributed, whereas standing them upright in a tin or pot will help
to 'dry-out' one side.
